We expect every member to
- Treat fellow public safety professionals, vendors, and staff with respect.
- Protect operational security — never share PII, victim information, ongoing investigation details, or sensitive tactics in public threads.
- Disclose vendor or financial conflicts of interest when discussing technology.
- Cite source agencies when sharing case studies and credit original authors of templates.
- Follow all applicable FAA regulations, state law, and your agency's policy.
Prohibited conduct
- Harassment, discrimination, threats, or hate speech.
- Sharing member-only material outside your authorized agency.
- Solicitation outside of the Vendor Marketplace channels.
- Recording or republishing closed-room discussions without consent.
Reporting and enforcement
Report concerns to conduct@dfpsa.org. DFPSA staff may warn, suspend, or revoke membership at its discretion. Serious violations may be reported to the member's employing agency.
