Privacy Policy

Last updated May 29, 2026.

The Drones for Public Safety Association ("DFPSA," "we," "our") respects the privacy of our members, agency partners, and visitors. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the controls available to you.

Information we collect

  • Account details you provide (name, work email, agency, role).
  • Membership and payment metadata (tier, status, invoice records — payment card data is processed by our PCI-compliant payment processor and never stored by DFPSA).
  • Resource and event activity (downloads, course completions, webinar attendance).
  • Standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.

How we use information

  • To operate your membership and provide gated resources.
  • To send the DFPSA briefing and program updates you have opted into.
  • To improve the resource vault, training catalog, and member community.
  • To meet legal, audit, and law-enforcement obligations where required.

Sharing

We do not sell member data. We share information only with the service providers needed to run the association (hosting, email, payment processing) under contracts that restrict their use of your data.

Your choices

  • Update or delete your account from your member dashboard.
  • Unsubscribe from any non-transactional email via the link in each message.
  • Request a copy or deletion of your data at privacy@dfpsa.org.
