What is TAK?

The situational awareness platform trusted by U.S. military, federal, and public safety agencies.

TAK (Team Awareness Kit) is an open-source geospatial platform originally developed by the U.S. Air Force Research Lab. It provides real-time mapping, cursor-on-target (CoT) messaging, video distribution, and team tracking across Android (ATAK), Windows (WinTAK), and web (WebTAK) clients.

DFPSA provides vendor-neutral implementation services to help public safety agencies deploy and operate TAK for drone operations, incident command, and regional coordination.
