Vendor Neutrality Policy

Public safety agencies trust DFPSA because we don't sell ranking.

Our commitments

  • Editorial independence. Resource Vault content, SOP templates, training curricula, and webinar topics are determined by DFPSA staff and member working groups — never by sponsors.
  • Marketplace neutrality. Vendor profiles are organized by capability and compliance, never by sponsorship spend. Sponsored placements are always labeled.
  • Disclosed conflicts. Instructors, authors, and speakers disclose financial relationships with vendors that appear in their material.
  • Procurement-friendly evaluation. Where DFPSA compares products, criteria are published, repeatable, and disclosed.

What sponsorship buys

  • Marketplace listing and product education pages (clearly labeled).
  • Webinar sponsorship slots and event presence.
  • Co-marketing opportunities under disclosed sponsored-content rules.

What sponsorship does not buy

  • Preferred placement in editorial guidance, SOPs, or curricula.
  • Suppression of negative reviews, incidents, or competitor coverage.
  • Member contact lists.
